Ebenezer & Michelle Kimathi
Isiolo, Kenya
Ebenezer and Michelle were sent out in 2022 by Trinity Baptist Church of Nairobi, Kenya to plant a church in the growing city of Isiolo. There is great opportunity for gospel ministry in this city, as it's a central part of the future economic plans for Kenya, and there is a large Muslim population living there as well.
After a season of traveling during the week to Isiolo to hold Bible studies, the Kimathis moved there and have seen the Lord bless the work to plant a church. They constituted in early 2025 with a solid core group. In 2023, the Kimathis welcomed a daughter into their family. Ebenezer is also receiving additional training for the ministry as he’s enrolled in classes with Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary.
